ECC Haiti Recovery is a parachurch organization comprised of individual volunteers who have been involved, some over 16 years, with the ministry of Pastor Gersan Valcin and his wife Betty. Gersan Valcin, a Haitian national, is the pastor of Evangelical Community Church of Haiti (ECC), located in Port-Au-Prince. ECC Haiti Recovery, under the leadership of Gary Kersch from Austin Texas, is devoted to meeting the personal and ministry needs of the Valcin's, his congregation, as well as countless other Haitians who were impacted by the devastating earthquake. As of February 2010, ECC is providing food, non-urgent medical care, and simple shelter to over 2600 Haitians.

A 1995 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, Pastor Valcin has planted over 70 churches in rural areas of Haiti since 1997, established Jacob's Well youth camp, and many other varied ministries all with the primary goal of promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ. Additionally Betty is the national director of AWANA establishing this childrens evangelism program throughout Haiti.
